According to experts in the music industry and the national press, Christ’OF is undoubtedly the most successful Michael Jackson Look & Sound Alike artist in Europe.
Christ’OF, of Belgian descent, received his first MJ album, “THRILLER,” in 1982, marking the beginning of his journey as an impersonator of his biggest idol. In 1989, he began to work more extensively with Bego, who became his regular assistant for makeup, hair, and personal styling.
Together, they established “The MJ Tribute Show,” which premiered in the cabaret hall L’évenement in Brussels. Since then, Christ’OF has performed in various countries, including France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, England, Slovenia, New York, the Dominican Republic, Spain and more.
Christ’OF has also delivered special performances, such as the album release of “Blood on the Dance Floor” at VIRGIN Megastore in Brussels, a preview of the film “GHOST” at KINEPOLIS in Brussels, and MJ Days in Belgium, the Netherlands, London, and New York. In 2001, he was awarded the title “EUROPEAN MJ SOUND & LOOK ALIKE” by SONY MUSIC. He has appeared on numerous TV shows, including RTL, RTBF, VRT, VTM, VT4, TF1, FR3, ARD, MTV, and VH1.
Christ’OF even had a role in the Belgian film “Iedereen Beroemd,” which received an Oscar nomination.
The pinnacle of Christ’OF’s career was undoubtedly his performance before the King of Pop himself at Webster Hall in New York City in July 2002, after which he received the highest compliments from the master himself: “YOU MUST PRACTICE EVERY DAY TO BE SO GOOD.”
In 2010, Christ’OF won the talent contest “My name is Michael” on the TV shows VTM and RTL4, which sought the best Michael Jackson look & sound alike in Belgium and the Netherlands.
Following this victory, Christ’OF launched a theater production in Belgium and the Netherlands that sold out 17 times, allowing approximately 49,000 people to enjoy the exciting show.
In 2011, Christ’OF started his own theater show titled “MY VISION.”
Christ’OF offers live performances with various cast possibilities, from solo acts to performances with up to 20 dancers, ranging from on-tap shows to full live productions with a crew of live musicians, backup vocalists, and dancers. The show is known as “LEGACY.”
