The Grammy nominated duo The Weather Girls have sold over six million records worldwide and have 2+ million
monthly listeners on Spotify. They have stood the test of time for 43 years, allowing fans to grow with them while
remaining true to their disco roots.

With Martha Wash and Izora Rhodes-Armstead, the band was formed in 1976 as backing singers for Sylvester and
later went on to record the historic disco hit, It’s Raining Men in 1982. After the departure of Martha Wash in
1990, Izora and her daughter Dynelle Rhodes, toured internationally for 14 years. After the passing of Izora in
2004, the Weather Girls have remained active under the management of Dynelle Rhodes with newest member,
Dorrey Lyles. Dynelle, who was only 15 when she waited for her mom backstage at the iconic Studio 54 in the
1970s, has given the band new life and air as disco returns to the mainstream.

Over the years, The Weather Girls have shared stages with Mariah Carey, Roberta Flack, Sister Sledge, Chic,
The Trammps, The Stylistics, Chris Norman, Haddaway, Coolio and Rick James just to name a few. As a preview to
their 2020 “Coming Home” tour, the duo shared a stage with international dance artist Terri B!, presenting their
“House My Disco Tour” in 2019.

A new single on Carrillo music (USA), will be released in late 2019 entitled “Cheek to Cheek”, and the ladies are
recording new material for an LP in 2020. Dynelle is working on an autobiography about her mother’s legacy as well as
penning a soul-food cookbook with their family recipes. It’s the perfect time to bring the ladies to modern
club, radio programming, locations and events.
