Mary is born in San Antonio, Zambales the Philipines.

She grows up on the peaceful island of Bohol in the central Visayas. As soon as she started talking, she was
“singing” along with the radio. At the age of 8, Mary wins her first talent show hosted by a local radio station in
Tagbilaran City. This is the moment that Mary decides to become a singer for life.

In January 2000 Mary moves to the Netherlands. After seeing the “Hennie Huisman Soundmixshow” (a popular TV
show in the Netherlands) she joins next year’s competition. On April 21, 2001 Mary wins the finals with her
imitation of Tina Turner’s River deep, mountain high.

From that moment on, people call Mary the Dutch Tina Turner.

For many years now Mary shows her exceptional talent. People ask: “Does Mary sing live?”
Of course. Mary sang live during the Soundmixshow and she still does and always will do so.
Full with passion and fire. Just like Tina Turner
