The Band

Steve Strahand Wright (Lead singer/Guitarist)

Steve has been the lead singer with 60s band The Easybeats since 1969 and still performs with them today. He has toured the whole of the world with the band and over the last 40 years has performed with all the greats. Steve has performed many times in Europe over the years and worked with many of the 60/70s bands enjoying many back stage laughs and drinks with them all! He has always loved the 70s songs and Creedence songs and really enjoys playing them live with this band. He also performed on the same shows back in 1969/1970 with the original CCR line up on a number of occasions

Phil Barrett (Keyboards/Guitar/Vocals)

Multi-instrumentalist / Vocalist Phil has acted as Musical Director and/or played with 60’s superstars: Tony Sheridan, Johnny Paris (Johnny and the Hurricanes) and The Jordanaires (Elvis’s backing Band). During the 80’s based in Denmark, Phil became a multi-awarded record producer for his work with the cream of Scandinavia’s recording/touring artists. He is currently an in-demand session musician and musical director for a number of high-quality artists. In recent years Phil has performed many times with C.C.R on keyboards

Garth Elliot (Lead Guitar/Vocals)

Garth was the original lead guitarist and founder member of “Alvin’s Heartbeats” with Alvin Stardust from day one and is featured on all the available online videos and Media of top of the pops and most other TV shows footage throughout the 1970s with Alvin Stardust. In the late 1970s and 1980s Garth also toured the world with Hermans Hermits after the departure of Peter Noon doing many tours of the USA with The Monkeys and Gary Pucket and many other stars playing in Las Vegas on numerous occasions with Hermans Hermits.

Paul Farnell (Bass guitar/Vocals)

Paul was Bass player/Vocalist with Herman’s Hermits in the early days and toured the world with them performing with the band for more than 15 years after the departure of Peter Noon. Paul has been a very well respected musician for many years and was also a member of 60s chart topping band The Casuals who had a number one hit with Jessamine. In the 1990s. Paul then went on to form a band with some local musical heroes including original Alvin Stardust lead guitarist Garth Elliot

Alvin’s Heartbeats” to perform as The Traveling Wrinkleys. Say no more!

Tony Crabtree (Drums)

Tony is quite simply as good a drummer that you could ever wish for, he is an absolute power house

although he is some years younger than the rest of the band, he has years of pro league experience,

performing all over the UK and Europe with many big names. In the 1990s Tony was part of a power trio on the verge of making it big when one of them decided to leave the band consequently they disbanded. The band was called T F B and they received lots of air play especially on the UKs BBC Radio 1. Tony now mainly does session work with C.C.R and occasional gigs with a revamped version of T F B.
